iHome IH70SRC Computer Stereo Speaker System with Dock for iPod (Silver) Review
The product is great. However, service was a problem. I had this shipped overnight; paying an extra $30 and when I received it everything was not in the box (new box and packaging). The cord that connects the speaker together was missing. I call Amazon customer service and talked to someone who talked very poor English and lack people skills, seem to be reading procedure from a book. He had no personality and was not very sympathetic. He said I had to call the manufacture. I knew this was a problem since I did not buy it direct from the manufacture. I called the manufacture and talked to a person who spoke a little better English, but had to get in a little agreement with her. She told me I had to go through Amazon because that where I purchase it. Finally she talked to a supervisor or someone and got it approve. I had to fax over the packing slip showing that I had purchased it from Amazon. It took about 5 days, including the weekend to resolve the issue. I not sure it is worth the small saving when the merchant is not responsible for solve issues of items purchase from them. If I did not have a fax machine, I would have to go locate one in order to fax the receipt and that would have taken my valuable time. The item is great, but I'm still not comfortable with their customer service.

iHome Rechargeable Mini Speaker Review
I had to give this product 5 stars mainly due to the size and sound quality. It is very small, much smaller than expected or how it appears on the website. The rubberized matt finish seems durable and feels good to the touch! Very well built little unit. As far as sound goes, it really packs a punch for a unit this small. I have other good quality mini speakers that are louder, but also much larger and 4 times the price. This unit only charges with a USB port, no AC adapter included(and no input for one either.) However the charge from the USB seems to last a good amount of time. We have listened to it for about 4 hours straight, at near full volume, then again the next day for about the same amount of time and it still seems to have a good charge. Great for vacations, especially if you have a portable USB charger or laptop... or can use the USB charging stations at some malls and airports. Length of charge still undetermined as this unit is still fairly new to me and I gave it to my fiancee. Distortion at the highest volume is there, however when you step back a few feet it is much less noticable and sounds more clear... or you can just turn it down slighty. Fairly clear sound and a nice little bass effect to boot(especially for the size.) I have very expensive taste in audio systems and this in no way will ever compete with a system or even a decent boom box. But for portability and travel, this tiny unit is excellent.

iHome iHM20B Pocket Stereo System for iPod nano 3G (Black) Review
We have an unused iPod Nano 3G just sitting around wasting away and I thought these speakers would make it more useful. The speakers are very compact and awesome in the way they fold down to add almost no additional size to the tiny iPod Nano 3G -- just doubles the thickness and adds a tiny bit, maybe 3/4 cm, to the length. Still reasonably tiny enough to fit into your butt pocket.
Now the cons:
Someone missed a detail in the design department. If they had added just a tiny bit more "width" to the opening at the bottom, it would be possibly easier to plug in the usb cable. Right now, in order to plug in the cable, I have to force the cable through the opening (it is a TIGHT fit), plug cable into iPod AFTER it has been threaded through the opening and then seat the iPod into position (onto speaker jack.)
The speaker quality leaves a bit to be desired. I was expecting more for a $30 set of speakers. Great for general on-the-go music.

iHome IHM4S Portable Speaker Case for iPod and MP3 Players Review
When I first saw this product, I thought 2 different things.
1) it looks super small
2) I don't know if it will be able to do the job right.
I was wrong on both things.
This is a definate buy if you are using it just for you or it has 2 headphone jacks which is really cool cause I'm going on vacation with a friend so now both of us can listen to music.
I just got it today, but the sound quality is pretty cool and the case is hard solid.
My only slight complaint is that it is a little tricky to work the circle wheel, but that's basicly all for my complaints. It was kinda hard to figure out how to put it in, but once it was in, it fit nice and snug, and easy to get back out too.
Someone mentioned something about bulky? That comment made me nervous, but I bought it anyway and um, excuse me, but would you rather have something that is small and breakable and has no sound quality OR protection, or would you have this which I have to admit is bigger but has great protection at a rather cheap price?
I say this is a must-have for people who don't want actual speaker docks that are quite expensive and just want something to take around with them.
I am a 15-year-old teen who loves music, so I highly recommend this.
I personally think this is the best iPod product I have seen.

iHome iH13B Protective Speaker Case for iPod (Green) Review
I bought this so I could listen to my Ipod at the beach and not have to spend $200+ on a fancy Brookstone speaker system. The sound is good and you can crank it up if you wanted to. I used the speakers this past weekend at the beach and it was running on new batteries and a fully charged Ipod, used for 5 hours straight and it still has life left. Great buy and I would recommend to anyone.

iHome iHM9BC Portable Stereo System for iPod, iPhone and MP3 Players (Black) Review
I purchased this tonight and cannot believe the sound clarity that this lil' thing has. I am very pleased with the sound however cannot give this a 5-star rating because the cord has a strange setup. Instead of being hidden the cord must wrap around the side to plug into the ipod. I have a 3rd gen nano (lil' square one) and the jack is on the bottom making it sit off-center. Also props the ipod a little off the back plate. If this didn't sound as good as it does I would take it back. For this price its definitely a keeper!

iHome iH4U Alarm Clock for iPod (Lilac) Review
We got my son a nano and I've been wanting speakers for it, nothing really pricey and my old speakers work, but don't charge since Apple decided to change something with the charging on the 4G nano. After searching, we decided on this speaker/clock and they work great. He's in his room napping as I write this listening to his music where his iPod had died last night with my other speakers.
PROS:
For an extra $12 we have speakers and a clock/night light not just a charger.
It doesn't take up much space.
Charges his iPod (4G nano)!
CONS:
The volume control is a little odd since there are only maybe 15 volume settings and the increase isn't gradual.
The night light is the same, with only four settings, but he likes a bit of light so it's fine.

iHome iP27BR Portable Travel Alarm Clock For ipod (Black) Review
This product works as advertised. It is light-weight, portable, and perfectly functional as a ipod dock (I don't have an iphone to test it with...sigh) and an alarm clock. One word of caution and one complaint, however: The sound quality is on-par with or perhaps slightly better than the average clock radio. This is most definitely not my Bose dock or Sony stereo, so if you are a real audiophile do not expect to be wowed. It will suffice for most users, however. My only complaint is that the backlighting on the LCD clock display is a bit bright and there are only two additional settings between the default "maximum, too bright to sleep" mode and "off"...neither of these are great, although the setting before "off" is tolerable. An LED display would have been better. Overall, however, I'm happy with this product.

This product works great with my IPOD 4th Gen Nano and my IPOD classic. It charges both of them while playing music. If you need a player that take up little space this is it. The sound it pretty decent considering it only has 2 little speakers and it turns up nice and loud so you can hear it good. I use it in the garage with a fan blowing in the back ground and I can still here it good. I am very happy with this player.

IHOME Rechargeable Mini Speakers for iPods (Silver) Review
I travel for months at a time and wanted smaller speakers for my laptop. These are not laptop replacement speakers. They make a buzzing noise when USB and input plug are both in use.
From Ihome technical support "Sorry iHM77 will make some static noise if both the USB and the input plug are both plug in and the iHM77 is in play modes. Please try removing the USB plug after full charge, it only takes few minutes for a full charge, and a full charge can play a lot of hours."

iHome Rotating Alarm Clock for iPhone and iPod with Remote Control Review
I ordered this after receiving the previous non iphone compatable version as a gift. I wanted a small unit for my office at work. It comes with some plastic inserts for docking different versions of ipods which I didn't use. I can connect and charge my first gen Iphone without removing the silicon rubber style case I use. There is a little battery indicator on the front that looks like the iphone charge indicator, but it's actually for the units battery backup, not an indicator of the iphones charge. It will turn sideways for watching video,(a nice feature I probably wont use) and still stay connected.
The sound is good but not great, I believe it's just a single speaker and this may be the reason for my one con; it doesn't fill a space with sound at low volume very well, which is how I use it at work, I think stereo units are better for low volume play. The remote is well designed, and controls the ipod app nicely.
I'm not sure I would use it as an alarm clock as even though the snooze & reset buttons are on the top of the speaker, I could see myself banging the Iphone when reaching for it, which might not be good as it sort of just balances on the plug, without a back-rest of any sort.
If size is your first priority this is a good choice, its not much bigger than a typical PC speaker. If stereo sound quality is your priority you might want to consider a unit with multiple speakers.

iHome iH20W Shower to Beach Portable Speaker System for iPod (White) Review
This is a great speaker system. The person who wrote the bad review obviously didn't read the directions. It has adapters you put in so that no matter who is using the speakers in your family, their iPod will fit. If you use batteries, it is very portable, although bigger and heavier than you expect from the pictures. The sound is great and I have dropped mine several times and it still works like new. It also recharges the iPod while you listen. It does pause, rewind, and fast forward. Just be sure to read the instructions.

Sony ICF-C1IPMK2 Speaker System and Clock Radio with iPod Dock (Black) Review
Got ICF-C1IPMK2 yesterday. Had a chance to fiddle with it, set it up, use the sleep mode, listen to music, and use the "remote commander". First impression is the sound is better than expected, pretty crisp, the bass distorts on some stuff if it's too loud, but I'm using it my bedroom, and that won't be an issue (plus the test song was "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash, a little extreme).
I didn't find the display too bright, as has been mentioned often, but it's also not next my head, it's across the room at the foot of the bed. But, I think the display could use more contrast - so the digits don't wash out in the back light.
Only other quibble would be that the "remote commander" could use some glow paint so its buttons are visible in dark for a while.
Pretty happy with it though, glad I made the purchase.

Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (4th Generation) LATEST MODEL Review
I've owned several other MP3 players but NONE LIKE THIS! Wow. All I can say is WOW. I had some difficulty figuring out how to change the volume and use the menu (If I had read the simple little pamphlet it would have helped...I finally did read it and solved my problems..) I thought this MP3 player would be similar to the others I had owned, but NOT.
This MP3/video player is phenomenal. I love it and will never want to own anything but this. Plays great video, quality of video is great, sound is great, apps and other options just make this a phenomenal player. Well worth the price. I got mine with a discount through Audible.com (great service!) so I got this baby so cheap I can't believe how little I paid for it. Fantastic deal, fantastic product! Cool features! (shake it to skip to another song!)

iHome iHM3P4 Portable Speaker System for iPod and MP3 Players (Pink) Review
I was very excited about buying this, especially because it is so portable. However, I've owned this for about a month and have not been impressed. I thought I'd found a good, cheap deal on Amazon, but there are very few good things about this. Here's a general synopsis of my views:
Good:
-Ultra compact and portable. I LOVE that this doesn't have cords and doesn't need to be plugged in. It comes with a cute, cushy carrying case and is small enough to fit into just about any bag.
-Extremely simple, easy to navigate. No problems with too much technology here.
Bad:
-Not enough sound. I was looking for something with a little more 'oomph.' I cranked the sound up all the way and it still could barely compete with my laptop speakers.
-As a result, the speakers blew out within a WEEK. I wasn't playing music with particularly heavy bass or loud parts, but now the sound is so bad I can't even use them. I know I probably maxed them out, but it seems a little unreasonable.
-Battery life isn't great. I've used this less than 10 times, and the batteries are gone. Extremely frustrating.
Overall: If you don't need a lot of sound and are looking for something compact with light use, this will be great. If you want ANYTHING above that, go for something with a little better quality.

Cyber Acoustics Portable Digital Docking Speaker for iPod (Black) Review
This product had such good reviews I was excited to get it only to be disappointed because the adapter for my Ipod Touch didnt work well at all. very bad connection. So, I have to use it without any adapter at all and its a pain in the butt to insert the device correctly. Im not sure how the other adapters fits since it comes with many different ones so another device might work better.
Speaker quality is good for the price. Just wish the blue light indicator wasnt so bright.

iHome iHC5S Wireless Bluetooth Clock Radio for Cell Phones and MP3 Players (Black) Review
This is by far the best sounding alarm clock I've ever had, but if you're looking for an alarm clock, this is really not for you.
It's more of a sound system with the bluetooth thing for your phone. I love hooking my ipod up to it too.
It's not very user friendly though especially when you wake up to what sounds like a freaking bomb getting ready to explode and can't find the right button to hit to save your life since none of the dang buttons light up. It's a bummer that you either have to wake up to the radio or the buzzer (or time bomb as I like to call it) since you can't leave your ipod or cellphone on all right waiting to wake you up.
I'd rather have a CD player alarm clock...
Love the sound, absolutely hate the alarm clock.

iHome Micro Bookshelf System For iPod Review
I have been looking for a small system for a while that would meet the following requirements. In each criteria, the iHome iH51 met or exceeded it.
1. Price: Inexpensive. My limit was $100. After being disappointed with numerous system, I relented and purchased the Bose Sounddock II ($300). I was sorely disappointed and returned it. The iH51 exceeds the sound quality for one third the price!!!
2. Radio reception. I live in the woods and have weak radio reception for my other alarm clocks. I was pleasantly surprised that the iH51 had a good (not great) signal reception. A major added bonus.
3. Sound Quality: Excellent sound quality with very little distortion at max volume. The subwoofer is an major advantage over similar systems with no subwoofer.
4. Line-in: Even though this is not important for many, I valued this the most since I needed to hook up my iPhone 3G.
5. Easy operation: My family is electronically challenged and refuse to read manuals. We were able to figure out how to operate it relatively quickly with few minor mistakes.
If you're looking for a kitchen sound system, this is perfectly suited for you.

iHome Dual Alarm Clock with Speaker Dock for Zune (Black) Review
I was so excited at first to receive this and when I first got it it worked like a charm. Then a few weeks later, the buttons just started doing either nothing or something else it wasn't supposed to do. The radio button didn't work. The alarm buttons didn't work. I returned it to Target and ordered a replacement thinking the first one was defective. Got the 2nd unit and it worked ok for a couple of weeks then the same thing happened I had to press the snooze button for the radio to come on. I had to bang the buttons for it to work. I bought the lansing dock but it doesn't have an alarm clock, so returned that also. Now I'm just waiting for another device to come out, or might just go back to an ipod.

iHome iH6 Clock Radio for iPod (White) Review
All the reviews I read of this lovely IHome were correct. I love everything about it -- the sound is great, the alarm quiet-to-louder feature works really well for me. The one thing that is kind of odd is that you can't select which type of alarm you want to wake up to for the two alarms. The first one has to be the ipod (or, if there is no ipod connected, the buzzer) and the second one has to be the radio. It works out really well for me since that's how I would set it up anyway.

iHome iH13B Protective Speaker Case for iPod (Pink) Review
I wanted a case that would protect my ipod at the beach. This was the perfect pick. No, it is not waterproof, but it keeps the ipod out of the sand. The buttons are easy to use and the case is pretty compact. I even used it at an outdoor bbq we had at our house. Speakers are great, better than I expected. As for the cons, it is a little heavy and the electric cord doesn't come with the purchase (though you can buy it elsewhere). If you plan on using it at home, the cord would be a good thing to have. I had LOTS of compliments. There were even a couple people who are also going to purchase this item. It is a bit expensive, but worth it because I will be using it for years to come.

iHome iH13B Protective Speaker Case for iPod (Silver) Review
I bought these speakers as a present for my husband for Christmas. When we connected his iPod to the speakers, there was no sound. I contacted the manufacturer and they could not diagnose the problem. The iPod played and charged, but still no sound from the speakers.
After getting in contact with the manufacturer, I then contacted Amazon, but because of their poor return policy, was not able to return the speakers because it had been more than 30 days. I guess with Amazon you have to buy your Christmas gifs at the last minute so you don't pass the 30-day mark. Amazon told me that, at best, I would get a "partial" credit and have to pay to ship it back to them. And, if I paid to ship it back, there was still no guarantee that I would even get "partial credit" or that they would do an exchange.
Overall, I was not impressed with the speakers or Amazon.

iHome iP47 Bluetooth Clock Radio for iPod/iPhone (Black) Review
Positive: Interference free iPhone usage and great ergonomics
Negative: Needs more phone features
I purchased this for 4 reasons:
1. No interference from iPhone while listening to iPod function
2. No interference from iPhone while listening to AM/FM radio
3. Charging dock for iPhone while I'm at the office.
4. Bluetooth speakerphone which allows me to answer and make calls while leaving the iPhone in the dock
So how well does it do?
Regarding reasons 1 and 2 above, the iP47 works flawlessly. I have had absolutely no noises while my iPhone was docked or residing near it in the regular phone mode. I don't hear any hiss, hum, pops or clicks. The speakers are excellent for spoken words such as podcasts and AM talk radio. The speakers are decent with great volume for music and FM radio. If you're a big podcast fan, I strongly recommend the iP47. The AM/FM radios include a small AM loop with stand (1.5' of cord) and FM cord (3'). The reception is good as I have a history of bad reception in my office building.
Regarding reason 3, the dock came with a variety of bases for the iPhone and other iPod devices. It is easy to move the iPhone in and out of the dock. Unfortunately, the dock is at the top, so there isn't any backstop for the iPhone. I was concerned about this since you lightly push on the phone to change settings while it is in the dock. My concern was that either the dock or phone might get stress damage by pushing on the phone while it's in the dock. The buttons on the iP47 and on the remote control help to prevent the need to touch the phone, but they don't completely replace it. One big plus is that the phone can make and receive calls without losing your place on the iPod or other Apps on the phone.
Regarding reason 4, this was really an afterthought when I was comparing this device with others. I really like the fact that I didn't have to remove the phone from the device to make and receive calls. The speakerphone works great when you use a regular speaking voice and you are 9" to 2.5' from the iP47. Both the iP47 and the remote have dialing capability; however, I was disappointed that it didn't include basic phone features such as last number redial and storage of 10 frequently called numbers. To make a call, you either have to enter the phone number by hand (not my preferred alternative now that everybody has some many numbers) or use the iPhone touch screen while in the dock (see my comments above).Since the iP47 uses Bluetooth, the iPhone doesn't have to sit in the dock to use the speakerphone capability. In the final analysis, I really like this feature and I'm glad that I spent more $$ to get this unique capability.
Other comments: I didn't buy this phone for the alarm clock, but that seems to be standard if you want an AM/FM radio and iPod/iPhone dock. However, it does have a couple of great features including a 4 position dimmer (including no light) and 2 alarms (one iPod and one radio). It doesn't have the 2-5-7 day feature that I use for my home alarm clock, but it is very easy to turn off and on. I also like the day light savings time adjustment which is a simple on/off switch on the back. The iP47 has an input jack, but I haven't tried that. All in all, this is a great device. I wouldn't have paid full retail for it, but I got a great deal from an Amazon.com merchant.

iHome iH4P Speaker System with Alarm Clock for iPod (Pink) Review
This was a great new alarm clock for me. I can listen to my ipod in good quality and it has a nice feature where it starts soft and works it's way up to the volume you set it at. This has eliminated the startled awake mornings for me and I have been much happier because of it. the lights are too bright to leave on while you're sleeping (unless you like a night light) but they can be shut off and you can turn them back on if you need to walk around but don't want full room lights. Easy to use, easy to set up. I would recommend this to everyone.

iHome iP9SR Clock Radio for iPod, iPhone (Silver) Review
I found this product to be of high quality.
I have another iPod dock station which was about half the price (and I liked fine) but I can tell this iHome product is of a much higher quality.
What I like is:
- high volume capability (which is nice if you use when showering)
- good sound quality (I'm not a sound quality snob but you can tell the difference between this iPod dock and a cheaper one)
- the remote; didn't think it was important before but now I think it is vital
What I didn't like:
- need to use iPod buttons if you want to control it when docked
- pricey at 100 dollars but I see the Amazon price is now lower
I cannot comment on the following features since I have not used them: iPhone capabilities and FM/AM radio.
Overall a nice product and definitely a good purchase when less than $100.

iHome iH11BR Alarm Clock with Dock for iPod (Black) Review
It does everything it says it's supposed to...plays the radio, plays my Ipod (Itouch). Sound is decent (what do you expect out of a little box for a clock radio?), but...no presets for the radio? That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. So I'm supposed to scroll through all the stations any time I want to change my mind on a station. I don't know about you, but there's about 5-6 stations that I consistently listen to and will change around when a radio is playing something I don't want to hear. Regardless of it being a clock radio where at my bedside I wouldn't be changing the station, if I bought this to go on my desk or something like that, then it would be completely pointless in my opinion. So if you really don't care about changing the station ever or scrolling through it is no big deal or you never will listen to the radio because you're only going to use this for your IPOD anyway, then you can make your decision. Just remember too that the sound is just okay.

iHome iH12 Cube Clock Radio with Dock for iPod (Black) Review
Heads up, I'm a 50 year old that still enjoys partying to hard driving R & R. I exhaustively research gadgets before I buy them and I don't worry about the price. I was looking for a iPod clock radio because I like to listen to Coast to Coast podcast at a decent hour when I go to bed and some decent music while I'm getting dressed for work. This unit works for me 100%. As one of the one star critics noted, sure the raised buttons can be hard to select in the dark but it gets easier with practice (my gosh its dark!). Plus it has a small footprint, which is what I wanted. If you're looking to use this to blast out R&R at a party then forget it - it's not designed for that! Instead buy the Bose iPod Sounddock, which I have, and it is awesome. You can't go wrong with the iHome unit when you want to listen to music, talk radio or podcasts as you're going to sleep. Plus, the nightlight can be completely turned off, which I love! All and all, it is superbly designed for a bedside clock radio, especially if you want to use your iPod.
Don't expect a $75.00 nightstand clock radio to rock your world with earshattering volume - give me a break. Rate it for what it is - the best night stand unit I've ever owned and I LOVE IT!

IHOME Rechargeable Mini Speakers for iPods (Black) Review
I bought these speakers from Amazon because of the general rating given from most users(4 to 5 stars). Suffice it to say these speakers perform well under mostly quiet circumstances and surroundings; HOWEVER, I doubt that "bass" should in any way be implied given their tonal range, and the "pop-up" feature does not seem to alter that limitation by much, but in all fairness, one should not expect deep tones in canisters of this size, but given that they are merely sonic messengers of the mighty MP3 format, they represent well and are definitely a pleasure to use if you happen to have some precious moments of serenity during the course of an otherwise active and busy lifestyle. Would LOVE something maybe just twice as large as these which would still provide portability and probably some extra "punch". Still might buy 1 or 2 more sets.

iHome iH55 Clock Radio with Dock for iPod (Silver) Review
at first i was very impressed with the iHome iH55SR. it boasted great sound, a nice remote, and simple controls in a sleek compact design. unfortunately, my delight turned to frustration shortly before bedtime when i realized the display was so bright it was as if a spotlight was shining into my bedroom. on the plus side the iH55SR does feature a dimmer which allows the owner to adjust the display's brightness. when on the medium setting the clock radio's display is a bit brighter than a child's night-light. however, unlike a night-light which is usually a warm color light (e.g. red, yellow, or orange) the clock's display is a cool blue which has a bigger impact in the dark. sadly, on the lightest setting the clock is barely readable, although this would not be an issue if the display would turn brighter when the alarm goes off. as it stands now i leave it on the medium setting when i go to bed, but i wish i would have just spent the extra $20 on the latest model.

iHome iP99BR Dual Alarm Clock Radio with Dock for iPod, iPhone (Black) Review
This iHome product was a great investment for me. It's recommended for the iPhone, but I use it for the ipod touch 2G and it works perfectly. In the box, it came with a remote, inserts for the iphone, ipod nano, and ipod touch, as well as simple, easy instructions to follow. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a small, light weight docking system. The shipping on this item was great as well. It was at my door two days after I ordered it online with standard shipping charges. I like this product from an ipod touch 2G prospective, not the iPhone. It does have nice features for the iPhone, however.

iHome iH13B Protective Speaker Case for iPod (Black) Review
I am a mobile in-home therapist working with small children and this is a perfect addition to my equipment. I don't worry about small, curious, quick and mighty hands destroying it, has great sound and volume for my needs and the storage for the mp3 is such good planning. I'm sorry that there isn't more generalizing of docking ports, etc. among the electronics brands, but I knew what I was getting into, and with the auxilary inputs available I can make it work just fine for me. Good job!
